“The most cultivated in the world”
For more than twenty years, the area of Terralbese has been known as one of the most important areas in Sardinia for the cultivation of mushrooms, both in terms of quality and quantity. The mushrooms of the Agricola Campidanese PO are produced entirely in Sardinia in southern Oristano, using only advanced techniques. The cultivation takes place in modern and functional greenhouses which recreate the ideal conditions of temperature and humidity for mushrooms and the harvesting is always carried out when the sporocarps have reached the ideal ripeness. The various processing phases contribute to the high quality of our mushrooms, carefully selected and packaged by highly skilled personnel. The labelling and control phases of the finished product guarantee accurate traceability and high reliability.
Commonly known as the oyster mushroom, it is one of the most known and cultivated species of mushrooms in the world. The oyster mushroom is grown in greenhouses protected from the sun through shading nets and its production involves several stages: the first production lot has the highest output while the subsequent ones are smaller.
