“Small in size but with a great taste”
A honeydew melon characterised by a small size and a very sweet pulp, selected to meet customers’ needs and optimise the consumption of seasonal fruit.
This is the Majores, the result of innovation activities and the continuous research carried out by the Agricola Campidanese PO in the last years. The Majores is produced entirely in the area of Campidano. It is a GLOBALG.A.P. certified product, the standard which guarantees that only rigorous cultivation techniques are used and which, above all, guarantees a quality product, the safeguarding of the environment and the protection of workers.
The Majores stands out for its pleasantly sweet taste, its crunchiness, the consistency of its pulp and its incredible shelf life (up to 20 days). Ideal as a snack on a hot summer afternoon, it is also great as an appetiser served together with Parma ham. This melon is rich in essential nutrients, including magnesium and potassium which help memory, improve kidney health and strengthen bones.

The people of Sardinia were the first in the Mediterranean to cultivate the melon, even since the Nuragic age. The new TV advert for Majores celebrates the strong connection between that remote past and the present.
